Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday that Belgrade is closely monitoring military cooperation between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo, claiming that Serbia is preparing for a possible attack.
“They are waiting for a favorable moment. We are preparing for their attack,” said Vucic in an interview with Radio Television of Serbia
His remarks referred to a tripartite declaration on defense cooperation signed by Croatia, Albania and Kosovo in Tirana on March 18, 2025, aimed at strengthening security cooperation and military interaction.
“We have Chinese hypersonic air-to-ground missiles with a range of up to 400 kilometers,” Vucic said, describing them as among the most advanced weapons systems.
Vucic also said that Serbia maintains good relations with NATO, while continuing to follow a policy of military neutrality.
“We do not want to join NATO, we will maintain our neutrality, but we have correct and good relations and we will continue to build them”, said Vucic.
