A “Peace Iftar” program was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric, AK Party Ankara Deputy Zeynep Yıldız and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Belgrade İlhan Saygılı and many guests attended the iftar program held in Belgrade, hosted by Serbian Minister of State for Reconciliation, Regional Cooperation and Social Stability Osame Zukorlic.
In his speech here, Djuric stated that Serbia is a country that hosts different cultures and religions.
Zukorlic also stated that different religions have lived together in the Balkans for many years, and said that today, civilians, women and children are experiencing war and violence, especially in the Middle East.
Within the scope of the iftar program, the “Sevdalinka” concert, the traditional love songs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was also held.
