“My opinion, based on what I saw, is that Iran did it,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One.
“And as you know, Iranian forces are very inaccurate with their munitions. They have no accuracy. Iran did it,” Trump insisted, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, who was standing near Trump on the plane, said his department was investigating the matter. “But the only party that attacks civilians is Iran,” he told reporters when asked if the president’s claim was true.
Trump: “Based on what I’ve seen, that school bombing in Minab was done by Iran.”
Based on what everyone else has seen – CNN, experts, evidence – it was the US. Trump is either lying or the only person on earth who saw different footage pic.twitter.com/OqWcDrDW6M

Tehran blames the attack on the school on the United States. The head of US diplomacy, Marco Rubio, assured on Tuesday that the US would never target the school.
The school in Mínáb was hit last Saturday, on the first day of the American-Israeli airstrikes on Iran. The city of Mínáb is located near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
But The New York Times published an analysis according to which the school building was apparently hit by a very precise strike at the same time when the US attacked the naval base of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards near the school.
American military investigators are said to have reached a preliminary conclusion that US forces are most likely responsible for the attack on the school. According to the AP agency, satellite images, expert analysis and information published by the American and Israeli military correspond to this.
The tragedy in Minab is the largest recorded civilian death toll in one attack since the start of the strikes launched by the US and Israel against Iran more than a week ago.
