The resigned chairman of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, has stated that April 5, 12 and 19 are options for the new elections, but there may be another date.
Commenting on the non-participation of the Vetëvendosje Movement in the meeting with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, Haradinaj said that this leaves “a bad taste”.
“A bad taste was the non-participation of Vetëvendosje and its governing partners, while the Serbian List was also absent from the meeting, it is senseless not to participate,” said Haradinaj.
According to him, addressing the Constitutional Court is an insult to the process itself.
Haradinaj underlined that this situation is the result of the behavior of Vetëvendosje.
“Addressing the Constitutional Court is an insult in itself, a mockery, a waste of processes. They know best that the 30-day deadline is such, they knew it in time, they made a mistake, the way they called the sessions yesterday, is really a mistake on their part. No one blames VV for their behavior and what they have brought to the country, this situation is their result. They had to come to this meeting and say their views, even if they are opposite.
As for the dates, the dates of April 5, 12 and 19 are options. There may be another date depending on the developments, we do not have a preferred date because we understand that we are on auto-pilot, no one has any more powers, except for the Constitution, the constitutional chambers and the constitutional deadlines, and we respect any of these dates”. he said after the meeting with Osmani.
