Learta Hollaj, the advisor to the president of Kosovo, denied that the Vetëvendosje Movement has offered Vjosa Osmani support to compete for a second 5-year term at the head of the state.
“This is a lie!“, Hollaj expressed through a post on Facebook, adding that Osmani was only invited for formalities.
“If you say to someone, just for the sake of formality, become Mr. Glauk Konjufca’s counter-candidate, as for numbers, so that later we can blame the opposition together if the elections are held, this is shameful“, emphasized Osman’s adviser.
The reaction of the official of the presidency came after the chairperson of the LVV parliamentary group Arbërie Nagavci stated during a press conference that they offered the necessary signatures of deputies to Vjosa Osman to become a candidate for president, but she did not accept.
