Czech women in Dubai describe the situation after the attacks on Iran

Czech Aneta Havránková, who accompanies tourists there, described the situation in Dubai for Fairpress on Saturday afternoon. “Lots of rockets have flown here, people are panicking, and almost all flights have been cancelled, that is, absolutely all flights from Europe,” explains the guide.

Tourists are confused because they do not have enough information on how to get home. Some locals are also panicking and want to get away too.

In the United Arab Emirates, locals fill up their tanks, withdraw cash, order food and prepare backup batteries.

Havránková learned about the fact that something was happening on Saturday morning at the historic market in old Dubai, where she was accompanying a group of Czechs. “We all got a notification on our cell phones,” she described.

Another Czech – Lenka Kočová – also reports on the situation in Dubai. “In the afternoon, we saw explosions over the local marina. You can hear a lot of shooting down (missiles, editor’s note), and then a cloud appears in the sky. A lot of people rushed home after it from the beach,” Kočová described from the scene.
