The mortal remains of the three disappeared during the war in Kosovo are identified

The Governmental Commission for Missing Persons has announced that the remains of three persons who disappeared during the war have been identified through DNA analysis: Bali Pajazit Gashi, Fadil Shaban Elezaj and Masar Ymer Dushi.

All three appeared on the list of missing persons, while their remains were exhumed from the mass cemetery in Bishtazh.

According to the announcement, the reburial will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Klina, in accordance with the wishes of the family members.

The reburial ceremony is organized by the Municipality of Klina with the support of the Government Commission for Missing Persons.
