“I am really glad that the coalition has agreed on the name of the new candidate and the government will be able to operate in full composition from today,” said Pavel during the ceremony.
“Recently, the Department of the Ministry of the Environment has been affected by a number of emotions, as if all issues that the Department should deal with have been narrowed down to the fight against green ideologies,” added the head of state.
According to Pavel, the department should return to the essence of the ministry, which, according to him, is “environmental protection in the interest of all citizens of this country, not just one party or parties of the government coalition”.
“Not all analyzes are objective, some are minority, it will be the task of the minister to work with opinions that represent the majority opinion of experts in our country and in the world,” said Pavel. According to his words, he will look forward to meeting Červený at the consultations on the newly adopted legislation.
