Analyst Ben Andoni, invited to the show “3D” with Alban Dudushi, commented on the atmosphere he observed in Serbia during the election process, stressing that despite the calm of the situation, elements of nationalism remain present in the public discourse.
According to Andoni, until noon the situation was very calm, but one particular moment caught his attention and helped him better understand the political and social climate in the country.
“Until lunch, the situation was extremely calm. What impressed me and what the people there also explained to me was that Srdanovic, who is the holder of the Student List, with his charisma, after finishing the speech started to sing a traditional Serbian song about Kosovo. The words were adapted by introducing elements of the Student List and it makes you understand that the part of nationalism is still part of their DNA“, said Andoni.
He added that the symbolism accompanying these manifestations remains the same, also referring to the use of the well-known three-finger sign.
“So it is understood that the symbolism is the same as that of the three fingers“, the analyst declared.
