Justina Shiroka-Pula has been elected President of the Republic of Kosovo with 81 votes in the Assembly of Kosovo.
After the election, Shiroka-Pula took the constitutional oath before the deputies and declared that he will be the President of all the citizens of Kosovo.
The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, also reacted to her election, who congratulated Shiroka-Pula on her new position.
“Hearty congratulations Ms. Justina Shiroka-Pula for the election of the President of the Republic of Kosovo!
In every challenge and every step towards the European future, Albania and Kosovo will be together.
Congratulations President! May God bless Kosovo and Albanians wherever they are!”, writes Begaj.
Shiroka-Pula, economist and academic, headed the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo until she was elected to this position.
