KOK and Prishtina Airport coordinate for the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games

The President of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Ismet Krasniqi, and the general secretary, Besim Aliti, held a meeting with the chief executive of the International Airport of Pristina “Adem Jashari”, Gökhan Açıkgöz, where they discussed cooperation in the framework of the preparations for the organization of the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games.

According to the announcement of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, the importance of coordination between the KOK, the Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Games and the Airport of Prishtina was assessed in the meeting, in order for athletes, delegations and international visitors to have the best possible conditions during their stay in Kosovo.

The parties have discussed the possibilities of creating facilities for the participants of the Mediterranean Games, as well as the logistical organization of the flow of guests who are expected to come to Kosovo during this great sports event.

KOK and Prishtina International Airport have expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation, stressing that inter-institutional coordination will be one of the main factors for a successful organization and for the best reception of the international sports community in Pristina 2030./ KosovaPress
