A person was arrested on Sunday at the Stanqiq Border Point, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina.
According to the Kosovo Police, it is suspected that on October 30, 2025, through a social network, he had committed the criminal offense of “Violence against high representatives of the Republic of Kosovo”.
“On 12.07.2026 at the border point (PKK) Stanqiq, based on the arrest warrant issued by the Special Department of the Basic Court of Prishtina, the male suspect, a foreign citizen, was arrested because he had committed the above-mentioned crime through the social network on 30.10.2025,” says the report according to Kosova Press.
After the arrest, by the prosecutor’s decision, the suspect was sent to custody.
