The International Stabilization Force (ISF), the multinational peacekeeping mission with an international mandate to stabilize Gaza, welcomed today the second contingent of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) soldiers who will serve in this mission.
In a post published on the X social network, the Peace Board welcomed the members of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK).
As announced in the announcement, KSF members will support security efforts in Gaza, with commitments in logistics and civil affairs.
“We welcome the newest members of the Kosovo Security Force to the team. They will support security efforts in Gaza in areas such as logistics and civil affairs,” said a Peace Board announcement via the X social network.
Kosovo and Albania are among the first five countries that are sending troops to provide security in Gaza within the framework of the Peace Board.
The first five countries that committed troops to serve in the International Stabilization Force are Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo and Albania. Meanwhile, Egypt and Jordan have undertaken to train the police.
According to security experts, the KSF’s engagement in international missions, such as the one in Gaza, is evidence of its institutional maturity and professional capacities, positioning Kosovo not only as a beneficiary, but also as a contributor to global security. /KosovaPress/
