YTU Yıldız Teknopark Opened an Office in Skopje

YTU Yıldız Teknopark is opening an office in Skopje, following its international offices in London, Dubai, Tashkent and Amsterdam. The Skopje Office, which will be opened within the scope of cooperation with the International Balkan University (IBU), will be a new center in the Balkans for Turkish entrepreneurs.

YTU Yıldız Teknopark Skopje Office, which will be located on IBU’s Skopje campus, will serve as the new stop of all international operations currently carried out by Teknopark. International Balkan University Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar and YTU Yıldız Technopark Chairman of the Board and YTU Rector Prof. Dr. With the cooperation protocol signed between Eyüp Debik and Eyüp Debik, companies in Türkiye will have the opportunity to open offices, carry out projects and develop regional collaborations in North Macedonia. Entrepreneurs who will operate within the office will gain easy access to the Balkan market and benefit from the infrastructure offered by the university.

Also attending the signing ceremony was YTU Yıldız Teknopark General Manager Assoc. Dr. Muhammet Garip and YTU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz also attended. Following the ceremony, while the scientific infrastructure of the university was introduced, a comprehensive evaluation tour of potential areas of cooperation was also carried out.

In the evaluation regarding the cooperation, it was emphasized that the Skopje office is the gateway of not only Yıldız Teknopark but also Türkiye’s technology and entrepreneurship power to the Balkans. While it was stated that this bridge established with the International Balkan University will bring new opportunities for entrepreneurs, it was also stated that the cooperation will create a common value by bringing together academic knowledge and innovation ecosystem.

YTU Yıldız Teknopark has created a global technology ecosystem with its offices in London, Dubai, Tashkent and Amsterdam, as well as its activities in Istanbul. Adding the Balkans to this network with its Skopje Office, YTU Yıldız Teknopark’s ‘local to global’ vision will offer Turkish entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet international investors and regional business partners in the Balkans.
