Yıldız Technical University (YTU) Yıldız Technopark, in cooperation with the International Balkan University (IBU), will launch the Skopje Office in order to become a new center for Turkish entrepreneurs in the region.
According to the statement made by the university, YTU Yıldız Teknopark, which promotes Türkiye’s technology brands on a global scale with its international offices in London, Dubai, Tashkent and Amsterdam, forms the new link of this network in Skopje.
Within the scope of the cooperation with IBU, YTU Yıldız Teknopark Skopje Office, which will be located on the Skopje campus of the university, will serve as the new stop of all international operations currently carried out by Teknopark.
Adding the Balkans to the global technology ecosystem with its Skopje Office, YTU Yıldız Teknopark will bring together Turkish entrepreneurs with international investors and regional business partners in the region with its “from local to global” vision.
International Balkan University Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar and YTU Yıldız Technopark Chairman of the Board and YTU Rector Prof. Dr. With the cooperation protocol signed between Eyüp Debik and Eyüp Debik, companies in Türkiye will have the opportunity to open offices, carry out projects and develop regional collaborations in North Macedonia.
Entrepreneurs who will operate within the office will not only gain easy access to the Balkan market, but will also benefit from the infrastructure offered by the university.
At the signing ceremony held within the scope of the cooperation, YTU Yıldız Teknopark General Manager Assoc. Dr. Muhammet Garip and YTU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz also attended. Following the ceremony, the scientific infrastructure of the university was introduced and a comprehensive evaluation tour of potential areas of cooperation was carried out.
YTU Yıldız Teknopark Skopje Office is aimed to be the gateway of Türkiye’s technology and entrepreneurship power to the Balkans. Thanks to the bridge established between IBU and YTU Yıldız Technopark, it is planned to create new opportunities for entrepreneurs and create a common value by bringing together academic knowledge and innovation ecosystem.
