The accident occurred near the village of Svahy between Plana and Černošín around 1:00 p.m. The driver of the Fabia drove off the road to the right for reasons that have not yet been determined, where the car crashed, rolled over the roof and ended up on its right side. “After the accident, a fire started,” said regional police spokeswoman Iva Vršecká.
“After performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, our doctor had to declare one man dead due to extensive injuries, the coroner was called to the scene,” said regional ambulance spokeswoman Andrea Divišová.

Firefighters, police and paramedics intervened at the scene.
The 20-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital, while the 18-year-old and 17-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance. According to information from ČTK, a helicopter took a seriously injured man to a burn center in Prague.
“Criminalists have taken over the case, ordered a forensic autopsy and are intensively investigating the causes and circumstances of this tragic event,” adds Vršecká.
The medical operations center declared a mass casualty of persons, because more forces and means of rescuers intervened in the place, including six ambulances.
