The documents, which were supposed to be created on October 15 and 16, started circulating on the Internet on Friday after they were published on Telegram by the Middle East Spectator account. They are marked “top secret” with the fact that only representatives of the United States and its four allies: Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom should be able to see them.
One source told US television that the leak of the documents was “very disturbing”. It describes Israel’s preparations for a retaliatory strike against Iran, which launched a massive attack on the Jewish state on October 1.

The alleged leak of two top secret documents
One of the documents that the American National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) was supposed to put together contains plans for the movement of Israeli ammunition. Another document prepared by the American CIA describes an Israeli air force exercise involving air-to-ground missiles, which, according to CNN, is also believed to be a preparation for a strike against Iran.
An American official said on condition of anonymity that the US is now investigating who had access to the alleged Pentagon documents. Any such leak also automatically triggers an FBI investigation along with the Pentagon and US intelligence services. Both the Pentagon and the FBI refused to comment on the leak.

“If it is true that Israel’s tactical plans to respond to Iran’s October 1st attack were leaked, then it is a serious mistake,” said Mick Mulroy, a retired CIA officer. “Future coordination between the US and Israel could also be disrupted. Trust is a key component of mutual relations,” he added.
However, another American representative said that the leak of these two documents is bad, but not terrible. “It would be worrying if more leaked,” he said.
At the moment, it is not clear how the documents were leaked, and it cannot be ruled out that the leaked documents may serve to confuse Tehran.
Israel is currently planning a retaliatory attack on Iran, which on October 1 sent about 180 ballistic missiles at the Jewish state, most of which were shot down by the Israeli army. A Palestinian died in the West Bank as a result of the attack. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Iran would pay for the attack.
