People reported the explosion around 4:20 in the morning. The called police officers then found two damaged ATMs at the supermarket in Opatovská Street.
“We are dealing with the case and looking for an unknown perpetrator. Police pyrotechnicians are also on the scene,” police spokeswoman Eva Kropáčová told Novinkám.
According to information from the scene, at least two ATMs are damaged. The area around the crime scene was closed by the police. It is not yet clear how much money the perpetrator took away.
This is evidenced by the fact that, roughly a hundred meters from the ATMs, the police found parts of the ATM, including a broken money box, in Kateřinká Street. At this point, there are clearly visible traces of a car on the lawn.

However, through further investigation, the police found out that the suspects left the scene of the crime in the direction of Jesenice, Jílové u Prahy and Týnec nad Sázavou on electric scooters. They could thus get up to several tens of kilometers from the scene of the crime.
