They found 12 dead in a restaurant building in a mountain ski resort in Georgia

“The police department of the Ministry of the Interior has opened an investigation into the case of manslaughter in connection with the alleged accident in which 12 people died,” reads the Saturday statement of the ministry, which did not specify when the death occurred.

The authorities further stated that none of the bodies showed any signs of violence when examined. The bodies of people, probably employees of the restaurant, were found in the bedrooms on the second floor of the building, they added.

According to the Georgian server Agenda, according to the preliminary investigation, a generator was placed in a closed area near the bedrooms, which someone allegedly turned on after the electricity was disconnected in the building.

Eleven of the twelve deceased are citizens of foreign countries, one victim has Georgian citizenship.

What exactly happened is not clear at the moment, the case will be clarified only by further investigation.
