According to Dolinková, after the approval of the consolidation package, it is not possible to fulfill the program statement of the government in the field of healthcare. “I consider the approved consolidation package unacceptable and unacceptable for the Slovak healthcare system,” she said. “With the current setup and approval of the consolidation package, I cannot guarantee that our healthcare is going in the right direction,” she added.
Dolinková faced criticism for the state of the health care sector, and as a result of the approved consolidation package, which, among other things, will also slow down the growth of health workers’ salaries, doctors began to resign from forced overtime in emergency rooms above the legal limits.
Health professionals stated that the slowdown in salary growth can lead to the overall destabilization or even collapse of the healthcare system, and that ultimately patients will pay for it.
At the beginning of 2024, in the middle of the flu season, Dolinková was photographed in the Poprad hospital with a premature baby. She was not wearing a mask or respirator, she was without a protective coat, and she was wearing a watch and a bracelet. Doctors and the public criticized her irresponsible approach.
