The parties celebrate the victory – LDK celebrates in Pristina, LVV in Mitrovica and Fushë Kosovë

Prishtina, one of the municipalities where votes were cast in the second round of elections, did not change its mayor, confirming the LDK candidate Përparim Rama. The latter won the race against Hajrullah Çeku. After this victory, the LVV candidate accepted the defeat and congratulated Rama, expressing that he hopes that Pristina will get out of the difficulties in which, according to him, it has been involved in recent years. So the Democratic League of Kosovo called the result in Pristina a victory for all of Kosovo.

I especially want to thank the 47,000 voters of Pristina who once again confirmed our victory. Today’s victory is not only the victory of the LDK, it is the victory of the whole of Kosovo, of the hope of the great national renaissance, and with this victory I mean that there are no losers at all. Progress Rama is the president of every citizen of Pristina, both those who voted for us and those who did not vote for us. We are too few to be divided and divided”, Lumir Abdixhiku, Head of LDK.

Today is the victory of all citizens of the capital, today is the victory of all of Kosovo. Prishtina showed that it wants development, Prishtina showed that it does not want deadlock. We move forward to the right of development, we say no to sabotage”, said Përparim Rama, LDK candidate for Pristina.
