No one was injured, but 165 passengers and a crew of six had to leave the plane through the emergency slides. The alcohol test of both pilots was negative.
Airline spokeswoman Sara Neergaard said that the cause of the incident was apparently complicated weather conditions. “As far as I know, the runway was slippery and there was a strong gust of wind,” she told the VG server.
This is the shocking moment a Boeing 737 passenger jet overshot the runway and stopped just 15 yards from the sea

The Boeing 737-800 took off from the Norwegian capital Oslo and after 44 minutes landed in the fjord at the airport in Molde, whose runway is two kilometers long.
“When we landed, there was a bit of snow on the ground, but visibility seemed to be good. I noticed that we landed a little far and then the braking process started,” said passenger Stig Waagbø.
“The engine howled and the plane slid to the side. When we stopped, I said to myself, my God, we are five meters from the sea,” he added, adding that it “wasn’t that dramatic and there was no panic.” “There was some tension when they told us to evacuate and leave our luggage on the plane,” the passenger admitted.

Another passenger, Simon Kristiansen, who was sitting in the very front row, said some people were in shock and even in tears. But according to him, the evacuation took place peacefully.
The airport was temporarily closed. Meteorologist Per Egil Haga said that there are strong gusts of wind in the area, but that in the next few hours the storm should move further over the land to the east.
