Three judges, together with an eight-member jury from the public, unanimously agreed after several hours of deliberations that the Austrian youth with North Macedonian roots is guilty of attempted mass murder when he planned an attack on the Vienna concert of the American singer Taylor Swift in 2024, the website of Austrian television ORF recalled.

He was also found guilty of aiding and abetting attempted murder and founding a terrorist cell because he incited his former classmate Hasan E. to commit a knife attack in Mecca. The third member of the cell, Arda K., also heard a guilty verdict for aiding and abetting an attempted murder.
The young men planned to commit three attacks already at the end of 2023 in the name of the Islamic State terrorist organization. According to the indictment, their joint plan was to kill police officers or members of the security forces in Mecca, Istanbul and Dubai simultaneously and independently on March 11, 2024, the Tagesanzeiger portal noted.
