The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Northern Macedonia has announced that the wife of physician Zekirija Shaini, also a DUI official in connection with the assassination attempt on the latter, has been arrested.
According to the Northern Macedonian authorities, Shain’s wife with the initials AA (43-year-old) from Tetovo, suspected of being involved in the attempted murder of her husband, Zekirija Shaini (43) from Slupcan village, Likovo, is arrested in the arrests.
Also the MIA stressed that it was declared in search of LF (36-year-old) from Gostivar, suspected of assassinating to doctor Shaini.
According to the MIA, on 07.10.2025, Kumanovo Police Station police made the AA arrest on suspicion based on its involvement in the incident.
Also, six people were questioned for interviewing at the Kumanovo Police Station, while at the BS (50) home from Kumanovo a raid was carried out by court order.
“Following the full documentation of the case, a suitable criminal report will be filed against the AA, while the LF, which is suspected of attempted murder and is still on the run, will also file a criminal report after consulting the Basic Prosecution, ” said by MIA.
