Tate’s pimp empire. His first victim was a minor Slovak woman

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan and younger sister grew up in the United States. Their father used to work in the air force, where he was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder, among other things. He left the family when the boys were young, he physically abused his sons. It was his father, whom he was afraid of all his life, and his views, that were the greatest inspiration for Andrew.

The mother later moved with the children to her native Britain, where the brothers experienced poverty and bullying. At the age of seventeen, Andrew left school and later started kickboxing. He gradually built a career in combat sports, created a cult of the personality of the “King of Cobra” around him.

It was because of sports competitions that he traveled all over Europe and often settled in Košice in Slovakia. Here, during one of his visits in 2012, he met a then fifteen-year-old Slovak girl, a high school student, who earned extra money as a waitress. Tate was twenty-six at the time. On his travels, he began to keep girlfriends in different countries, and a young Slovak woman was one of them.

The Slovak was in love with Tate and longed for a joint future and a family. When she was seventeen, Tate invited her to Britain. The girl agreed and left Slovakia and her loved ones. Although Andrew had won several kickboxing championships, he did not have much money. He had a dilapidated apartment, car payments and several girlfriends around the world. And that’s when he got the idea of ​​how to get money – to use his “girlfriends” for a webcam porn website, a phenomenon that was just beginning at the time.

The Slovak agreed and became Tate’s first victim. At that time, she was still only seventeen years old, so she appeared on the Internet as a twenty-year-old Russian. Tate forced her to tattoo the words “Property of Tate” on her body. Later, pornographic videos in which Tate brutally beats her were leaked to the Internet.

Andrew considered himself a pioneer in this business and spent hours a day together with the girl on the Internet, communicating instead of her with men paying for explicit content and extracting money from them. Soon, he and his brother started earning enough to be able to hang a kickboxer’s career on a nail.

As The New Yorker reminds, working with webcams, unlike prostitution, is generally legal. But almost everywhere in the world it is illegal to recruit sex workers using force, fraud or coercion – including psychological manipulation. And Andrew Tate was a master at that.

Tate began to use the story of the Slovak girl to recruit other women. He showed them her videos, where she only typed on the keyboard and chatted with men on camera, and promised them an easily earned fabulous fortune. His brother Tristan also helped with recruitment. In 2015, Andrew was already renting a large apartment and his webcam business was booming. Six girls already worked for him and he considered them his property.

According to the testimony of others, he should have behaved “horribly” towards the Slovak girl, cursing her for being fat and ugly. In the presence of Tate, the Slovak tried to show her dominance in front of the other girls. But when Andrew was not around, she gave up her efforts.

Tate maintained a formal relationship with one of the girls, but he also raped, choked or whipped several of them with a belt. After all, according to the statements, he resorted to this very often with many women. Two women finally left the apartment and the webcam industry after another brutal physical attack and reported everything to the police. Another woman also accused him of rape and strangulation. Tate refused everything and was released. Before the case could start, he and his brother left Britain. The year was 2015.

The original plan of the brothers was to “travel freely around the world and be above the jurisdiction of any place”. But Andrew heard from a well-known person from the world of kickboxing with ties to people from the infamous Romanian cartel and the local underworld. These ties fascinated Tate, and Romania became a paradise for his dreams and gangster activities. Later, he bragged about bribes, investments, weapons, and contacts with the mafia and the police.

The brothers also took girls with them to Romania, which they used for the tickling business, including a Slovak. They were “employed” in properties all over Bucharest and protected by dozens of guards. One lawyer assured Tate that “without physical evidence” it would not be possible to prove the accusation of assaulting women. To this day, the brothers deny that they have ever harmed any woman, but there are more than enough different testimonies.

In Romania, the brothers created an empire from a “small business”. The recruitment of women took place mostly through dating applications, where Tate first charmed women with his wealth, romantic gestures and meetings. “I was sending out Instagram every day. I was on a date every day. I was fucking four, five women every week,” Andrew let himself be heard.
