Sveçla: Kosovo first in Europe for security, result of citizens’ institutions and ethics

Kosovo is ranked first in Europe and the third in the world in the 2025 Law and Order Index, published by the American Gallup Institute, reaching a tremendous estimate of 94 out of 100 possible points. This result positions Kosovo as one of the safest places for its citizens, an achievement that has been enthusiastically received by the authorities and citizens.

Internal Affairs Minister Xhelal Sveçla described this ranking as a tremendous success, reflecting the professionalism of security institutions and the high civic ethics of the people of Kosovo. In a post on the social network Facebook, Svecla wrote: “Citizen security is one of the greatest achievements of democracy and the institutions of the Republic. With 94/100 points, our country marks a tremendous success for proper assessment of security, order and dedication to society. We are convinced that this success is the result of the professionalism of the security institutions and the high ethics of our citizens. As Minister of the Interior I take the opportunity to thank every member of the security structures for high responsibility and every citizen for their daily contribution. Any success is for us only a new impetus for more work and dedication”, Wrote on Facebook the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Hekuran Murati said this is great news. “Kosovo is one of the safest places to live, and this is also reflected in the latest report by the Gallup Institute. This is news that the opposition should enjoy,” the finance minister, Hekuran Murati, wrote.
