The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, has welcomed the decision of the Arab Republic of Syria to officially recognize the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo.
In a reaction on the X platform, Spiropali described this development as an important step in the path of the international consolidation of the state of Kosovo.

Spiropali praised the commitment of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, for his role in crowning this recognition.
