Analyst Preç Zogaj described this failure as a negative development.
“It is bad news to fail to form a government that does not respect Kosovo,” said Zogaj, adding that a new state like Kosovo urgently needs consolidation and international recognition.
He emphasized that, despite the fact that vote fragmentation exists in some European countries, the leadership must show awareness to find a solution.
“They took this situation irresponsibly,” he assessed.
Kurt’s conflict with the international factor
Zogaj said that the current president, Albin Kurti, has failed to take the right role to get the country out of the crisis. The analyst emphasized that the current situation puts Kurti in great difficulty even with international partners.
“I have not seen any movement for a solution. With this scenario being played out in Kosovo, he is also in difficulty with the international factor, where it seems that they do not want to continue with Kurti,” Zogaj argued.
He described it as “unimaginable” that a state freed from Western partners has conflicts with the USA and the EU.
According to Zogaj, if it was in a good position with the internationals, another party would have agreed to enter the government, implying their influence on the political dynamics.
