Somuncu Baba Education Culture and Social Solidarity Association delivers food parcels and hot meals to those in need in the Balkans and Africa as part of its Ramadan aid.
In a statement made by the association, it was stated that this year’s Ramadan aid continues intensively in the Balkans as well as in Africa.
It was stated in the statement that aid from charitable citizens contributes to unity and solidarity among Muslim countries, and that hot meal and food parcel support will continue throughout Ramadan.
It was stated that food parcels containing oil, olives, cheese, tomato paste, pasta, rice, flour, salt, bulgur and canned food were delivered to needy families living in rural areas of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, and that mass iftar dinner organizations continued for 30 days.
The association also reported that food aid continued throughout Ramadan in Sudan and Sierra Leone by distributing food parcels in Tanzania.
In the statement, it was shared that food aid continued in 5 different countries throughout the month of Ramadan.
