Some Iranian missiles hit our air bases, the Israeli army admitted

The damage caused by Iranian missiles on Israeli military bases was not significant enough to limit the effectiveness of the Israeli air force, which could continue to strike targets in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the Israeli armed forces announced.

Iranian ballistic missiles also did not damage any of the machines of the Israeli Air Force, according to The Jerusalem Post, the army of the Jewish state said without giving further details. Army spokesman Daniel Hagari already warned on Tuesday that the army will not be specific because “it does not want to provide information to the enemy.”

According to The Times of Israel website, Iranian rockets “damaged only office and other buildings at some bases, which do not affect the operation of the Israeli Air Force.”

On Tuesday, Iran fired almost two hundred ballistic missiles at Israel, most of which were shot down by Israeli air defenses, which were assisted by the US and apparently also France and Britain.

According to The Times of Israel website, shrapnel from destroyed enemy rockets and anti-rockets fired by the defenders destroyed, among other things, a hundred houses in the city of Hod ha-Sharon, which is located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, or a school in Geder.

The Israeli army also announced on Wednesday that it will involve its armored units and infantry in the ground operation against the Hezbollah terrorist movement in Lebanon. They will be soldiers from the 36th Division, including the Golani Brigade, the 188th Armored Brigade and the 6th Infantry Brigade, which indicates that the military operation has already gone beyond the limited penetration of special forces.
