Rama invites Albanians to a mass rally in Tirana: “Justice for Liberators” of the KLA

Prime Minister Edi Rama has joined the call of the organizers for a nationwide rally in Tirana, with the aim of requesting justice for the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who are being tried in The Hague Court.

Through a post on social networks, Rama has made public the invitation, emphasizing the importance of mass participation.

“With pleasure and honored to obey the organizers to post this invitation-call … Freedom has a name,” Rama wrote.

The rally is planned to take place this Friday, October 17, at 17:00, in Tirana.

Rama’s message is a call for national unity, inviting citizens from all Albanian territories:

“From Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Albania, the Diaspora of every corner of the Albanian lands – thousands of hearts will join this Friday, October 17, 17:00, to demand unanimously for the liberators.”

This initiative comes as an expression of solidarity with former KLA leaders, who are facing charges of war crimes in the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
