The Ministry of Transport officially confirmed today that the price of highway stamps in the Czech Republic will increase in 2026, albeit dramatically. A one-day stamp costs CZK 230 (+20 CZK), a ten-day pass now costs CZK 300 (+10 CZK), for 30 days you will pay 480 CZK (+20 CZK), the annual price increased by 130 crowns to 2,570 CZK.

“From January 1, 2025, the price of a highway stamp is determined based on the growth of consumer prices (inflation) as of June of the previous year in combination with the year-on-year increase in the length of the highway network on the same date. Both values ​​are added together and the resulting percentage is applied to the price of the annual stamp from the previous year,” the Ministry of Transport explains the key according to which the prices are set.

Discounts for low-emission vehicles will remain valid next year as well. Owners of CNG and LNG cars (but not LPG) pay half for the toll, plug-in hybrids only a quarter. Cars with electric or hydrogen drive are completely exempt from toll fees.

Vehicles transporting disabled persons (ZTP or ZTP/P) and vehicles transporting dependent children who are being treated for cancer or hemoblastosis are still exempt from the fee.

“At the same time, all money from highway stamps goes back into the construction and maintenance of highways and therefore serves those who pay them,” adds the Ministry of Transport, which next year, he expects a revenue of approximately 9 billion crownsi.e. a billion more than this year.
