“Must have got it from K.” Witkoff posted a cryptic post, then quickly deleted it

“Witkoff clearly thought he was sending a private message, given that his post was quickly deleted,” commented Sky News’ Mark Stone on Witkoff’s briefly published message.

Witkoff responded to an article by the website Axios, which discussed the new American plan to end the war in Ukraine. The report mentioned that the Americans were secretly negotiating with the Russians to end the war with the fact that, among other things, it is expected that the territory still controlled by Ukraine will be ceded to Russia.

Although the post quickly disappeared, it did not escape attention. And he started speculations about who he could actually be.

“Who is the ‘K’ in the Witkoff report? It is probably Kirill Dmitriyev, who has become Putin’s unofficial and improbable envoy in Washington,” Sky News continued.

She recalled that both men were entrusted by their leaders to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine, which Russia has been attacking for years, although Witkoff is originally a real estate magnate and Dmitriev is an economist.

The Daily Mail’s speculation regarding the mysterious K also goes in a similar direction. “Prime suspect: Kirill Dmitriyev, the Russian official quoted in the article at length. Others suggested Jared Kushner (Trump’s son-in-law and former adviser). But two of our sources told us that Witkoff does not refer to Kushner as ‘K’ — pointing directly to a Kremlin proxy,” the letter wrote.

Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special representative for Ukraine, who, according to Reuters, has now announced to his associates that he plans to leave the post in January, with the fact that his temporary mandate will expire at that time, could be another possible person in the scope of negotiations on Ukraine.

“This departure would mean the loss of a key supporter of Ukraine in the Trump administration,” noted the Reuters agency.
