The Kosovo Police has detained a member of the Serbian Police at the Jarinja border crossing, on suspicion of unauthorized import of ammunition and unauthorized possession of weapons and explosive materials.

According to the announcement of the Kosovo Police, 51 cartridges, 9,900 euros in cash and 26,000 Serbian dinars were found and confiscated in the suspected car, with Serbian license plates.

Also, personal documents and equipment were seized, including the identification card and badge of the Serbian police, the card of the Serbian police union, identity cards from Serbia and Kosovo, Serbian passports, a pair of uniform straps, a pair of gloves and a USB.

“The Kosovar male suspect, a member of the Serbian police, was arrested at the border crossing at the entrance, because 51 cartridges, 9,900 euros in cash and 26,000 Serbian dinars were found and confiscated in the car with Belgrade license plates that he was driving during the luggage check.
