Kosovo – CEC completes counting and verification in 21 municipalities

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the process of verifying and counting votes in 21 Municipal Counting Centers (MCC) has been completed by 21:30 today.

The spokesperson of the CEC, Valmir Elezi, announced that the process has been completed in these municipalities: Hani i Elezit, Junik, Mamushë, Zveçan, North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Deçan, Shtime, Klinë, Shtërpce, Obiliq, Istog, Skenderaj, Viti, Rahovec, Suharekë, Dragash, Kaçanik, Lipjan, Fushë Kosovë and Ferizaj.

Elezi clarified that three key activities are taking place in the Municipal Counting Centers:

  • Verification of the results from the elections for Mayors of Municipalities.
  • Verification of the results of political entities from the Municipal Assembly elections.
  • Counting of votes of candidates for members of Municipal Assemblies.

The CEC announced that the results from the Municipal Counting Centers are continuously being presented on the official platform, updating the data polling station by polling station.
