There is slushy snow on the Central Bohemian roads. After the night’s snowfall, almost all the equipment of the regional road workers came out. The main thoroughfares and roads of the second and third class are passable in all districts with increased caution, according to information from the Directorate of Roads and Highways of the Czech Republic and regional road workers.
According to the website of the Directorate of Roads and Highways of the Czech Republic, highways are mostly damp or wet after chemical treatment, but in some sections of 1st class roads there may be remnants of slush and the roadway there may be slippery. Such a danger exists, for example, on the D6 highway in Rakovnick or the D7 in Kladensko.
Temperatures in the region on Saturday morning range mostly from minus four to plus two degrees Celsius. The highest temperatures during the day will be up to one degree Celsius.

North Bohemian region
In the north of Bohemia, drivers must be careful of ice in lower areas and snow on mountain roads. Due to the icy road, some sections of the roads are difficult to pass. Drivers should not go to the Ore and Jizera Mountains without winter equipment.
Due to impassability of the road, there is a parked tank in Louny in Sladovnické street. According to the police, there is an ice rink at the site. In the Jizerské hory mountains, plows pass through the roads, the remains of snow are on the roads II. and III. class. Slushy snow after chemical treatment is on the roads in Liberecka and Jablonecka. The roads in Českolipska are wet, where a car crashed on Saturday morning.
Temperatures in the region are below zero. According to the forecast of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ), there may be occasional snow showers in northern Bohemia on Saturday. Up to eight centimeters of snow could fall on Sunday. On Sunday afternoon and evening, meteorologists expect gradually freezing rain with the formation of strong ice.
Highlands
On the roads of lower classes in Vysočina, there is a layer of drifted snow since morning. On the night of Saturday, road workers had seven dozen cars in the field, which were preparing the roads. The roads are passable with caution, mostly wet after chemical treatment.
“More snow fell in Žďárska, where the situation may be a little worse than in the rest of the region. But we have not reported any problem in traffic,” said Aleš Hubený, regional administration and maintenance dispatcher, on Saturday morning.
Temperatures in the Vysočina ranged from minus two to minus four degrees Celsius in the morning. According to the forecast of meteorologists, snow showers may occur mainly in the morning and in the morning. Temperatures will stay around zero degrees all day. “We will see what the situation will be on Sunday and from Sunday to Monday, when, according to the forecast, ice could form with the freezing rain,” said Hubený.
Pardubice region

In Svitavy, Chrudim and Orlickousteck, the wind can create tongues of snow on the roads, for example on the I/34 road between Hlinsk and Polička. Temperatures in the region on Saturday morning ranged from zero to minus five degrees Celsius, road officials said.
According to meteorologists, it should be cloudy to overcast during the day in the Pardubice region, and partly cloudy in the evening. Snow showers may occur, especially in the mountains. Temperatures should range from minus two to plus one degree, in the mountains it should be up to minus eight degrees.

Hradec Králové region
In the Hradec Králové region, there is a layer of fresh snow on the roads. About 12 cm of snow fell in the Giant Mountains on Saturday night. Snow tongues and drifts can form on the roads in Rychnovsk. Drivers should be careful when driving. Temperatures in the region were several degrees below zero in the morning, on the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains it was as low as -11 degrees Celsius.
On the unsalted roads in the Krkonoše and Orlické mountains, there is a layer of snow that is worn and in some places icy. Road workers sprinkled it with crushed stone.
During the day, meteorologists expect cloudy to overcast conditions with snow showers in the region. It should snow mainly on the mountains. Temperatures should be around zero and in the mountains from minus five to minus eight degrees.
Moravian-Silesian Region
There is a layer of new snow on some lower grade roads in the Moravian-Silesian region. Especially in the Bruntál region, driving on Saturday can be complicated by strong wind and snow showers that reduce visibility. Frost or ice forms in some places. Motorists may also encounter frost and occasional snowfall in the Opava Region.
However, most of the roads in the region are passable without major restrictions. However, drivers must take into account the fact that after chemical treatment, the remains of slush may lie on them. In the higher areas of the Beskydy, new snow is covered with sprinkles.
According to meteorologists, it will be cloudy to overcast in the region on Saturday, only temporarily partly cloudy. Rarely it will snow lightly. Temperatures can rise to a maximum of one degree Celsius, but in the mountains they can drop to minus eight degrees Celsius.
Olomouc region
On some roadways in the Olomouc Region on Saturday morning, drifted or slushy snow remained. Motorists can meet him mainly on the roads in Jesenice and Šumpersko. Snow or its remnants also lie on less busy roads in Přerovsk and Olomouc, where snow tongues also form on them at higher altitudes. They are passable with increased caution.
Other roads and highways in the Olomouc region are mostly bare and wet after chemical treatment. However, there is also caution when driving. On the D35 highway between Velký Újezd in Olomouc and Dolní Újezd in Přerovska, road officials warn of ice.

Zlín region
On the roads of the second and third class in Zlínsk and Vsetínsk, which are not maintained by chemical sprinkling during the winter, on Saturday morning there was drifted snow, or its remnants. Drivers can also encounter a smooth layer of snow covered with sprinkles in forest sections on less busy roads in the Kroměříž region.
Caution is also appropriate when driving on other roads in the Zlín region. After chemical treatment, they are mostly bare and wet. On the road I/69 between Jasenna in the Zlín region and Liptál in the Vsetín region, which in this section leads over Syrákov hill, road officials are warning of ice.

In the Zlín Region, there will be changeable, mainly heavy cloud cover during Saturday. Snow showers can be expected locally in the morning and afternoon, during the day only occasionally in higher altitudes, especially in the Vsetín region. Cloudiness should increase in the afternoon. The highest afternoon temperatures will range between minus two and plus one degree Celsius. Vat should have a moderate wind.
