The Trnava police reported on Facebook on Thursday that the child locked himself in a BMW vehicle. “After the mother got out of the motor vehicle, the small passenger locked it himself and then was unable to open it. The frightened child was crying loudly in the car,” Slovak police officers said.
A patrol from the Operations Department of the Šamorín Police Force was immediately sent to the scene. “She showed a lightning reaction and arrived at the car exactly two minutes after receiving the notification,” stated the police.
Firefighters and police immediately broke the side window of the vehicle and freed the child. “The child was in shock and cried unstoppable. After a medical examination, it was confirmed that he is fine and uninjured,” the Slovak police added.
At the end of May, a twenty-two-month-old child was left in a hot, locked car in eastern Slovakia. The car keys were inside, the parents did not know what to do, and the child was brought out after ninety long minutes until the police were called.
