International students at Trakya University were informed about the university application process.
According to the statement made by the university, Director of the Foreign Relations Application and Research Center Dr. Lecturer Member Rifat Gürgendereli stated that the university is very important for Western Thrace at the meeting held at the Balkan Congress Center Senate Hall.
Stating that Trakya University is close to the Balkans, Gürgendereli said, “Our university is accessible to students to provide all kinds of support and we help them with any problems. International students will feel at home at Trakya University.” he said.
Lecturer made an introductory presentation about the university. See. Özay Ak also explained that Trakya University is one of the most established universities in the region.
Stating that the university allocates 80 percent of its international student quota to students from the Balkans, Ak also touched upon the social, cultural and academic activities carried out at the university.
Ak also gave information about the application process to the university.
President of the Xanthi Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu, his accompanying delegation and students attended the meeting.
Visit to Rector Hatipler
After the meeting, Ahmetoğlu and his accompanying delegation met with Rector Prof. Dr. He visited Mustafa Hatipler in his office.
During the visit, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tan and Prof. Dr. Eylem Bayır and Gürgendereli took part.
