On Monday morning, the corpse of a 51-year-old woman was found on a forest road near the racetrack in Mannheim. How exactly she died and what could have been the motive for her death is not clear. “We are waiting for the results of the autopsy,” a police spokeswoman told Bild.
The discovery of the murdered woman caused shock among the locals, as well as fear of a possible serial offender. Just four weeks earlier, a thirty-six-year-old woman, mother of two children, was murdered in Lampertheim, about 20 kilometers away. The perpetrator stabbed her when she was out for a run. Her corpse was found in a wooded area. The body was thrown between trees and thrown by branches.
The kidney that the woman had with her was open and its contents were missing. The perpetrator was not caught, the police are still searching, but claim that “according to the current state of the investigation, there are no indications of a connection with the murder in Mannheim”.
