The plane landed on the landing area, but the landing gear did not extend. Subsequently, after about 15 seconds, it crossed the runway and hit the wall. In an instant, the boeing turned into a burning ball.
It can be seen from the video that only the rest of the tail part remained. Rescuers rescued two survivors from it. A representative of the airport told Reuters that shortly after the crash, they were working on rescuing people in the tail section.
There was no Czech on board, Foreign Ministry spokesman Daniel Drake told Novinka.
The crash occurred on Sunday at 09:07 local time (01:07 am CET) at the airport in South Korea’s Muan. Boeing 737-800, flight number 2216, was returning from Bangkok, Thailand.
