Elections in Kosovo – Kurti and Osman vote: We decide for the next four years

Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, voted today in the framework of local elections being held throughout the country.

In a statement to the media, Kurti described today as an important day for the future of municipalities in Kosovo.

Today is an important day, we vote to decide for the next four years in our municipalities. We vote for kindergarten, school, water, health, services and infrastructure in the neighborhoods of towns and villages where we live“, Kurti said after the vote.

He stressed that, in addition to being citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, people are also residents of the municipalities where they live and operate. Therefore, he called on all citizens to use the right to vote.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, also cast her vote at the Technical Faculty in Pristina, as part of the electoral process taking place across the country. The country’s first described this day as an important moment for democracy and the state.

“As you know, today is an important day for the democracy of our country. The more massive participation in electoral processes and the more regular the process, the stronger our democracy will be”She said.

The President expressed the hope that the process would take place for the benefit of citizens, with a free and protected vote for all.
