A day ago, Kosovo police and KFOR units found ten detonators lighting fuses near the village of Gjezhdan, in the municipality of Leposavič, in the north of Kosovo.
Acting Minister of the Interior, Xelal Svelça, accused Serbia of planning terrorist attacks in Kosovo.
“Serbia, through criminal and terrorist gangs, continues to plan and undertake terrorist attacks in the Republic of Kosovo. The extent of the Kosovo Police and the presence of our security institutions has made it possible for such means, which could turn into dangerous terrorist attacks, to be caught and avoided,” Svelça wrote in a post on Facebook, where he also expressed the determination of law enforcement forces to fight these criminal groups.
According to the announcement of the Kosovo Police, the detonators were found near the bed of the Gjezhdan river, and the law enforcement forces are working to discover their origin and purpose of use, as these devices could pose a danger to the residents of the area.
