The protest in Pristina has been accompanied by clashes between the protesters and the Kosovo Police, while the authorities have reported injuries on both sides.
The police also announced that three people were escorted to the police station because of their actions during the protest. The situation became tense during the evening hours, when, according to the Police, a part of the protestors repeatedly threw pyrotechnics, firecrackers and strong objects in the direction of the buildings of the Government and the Assembly of Kosovo.
The police have stated that, despite calls for calm and peaceful development of the protest, the continuous throwing of objects and blocking of movement have forced them to intervene to prevent the escalation of the situation.

Due to the created situation, the circulation of vehicles in some of the roads around the center of Prishtina has been stopped at various times, in order to maintain the safety of citizens and traffic participants.
The police also reported on material damage caused during the protest. According to her, in addition to throwing items and pyrotechnic tools at institutions, in some cases garbage containers were burned and fires were lit on the streets.
