A woman was kicked in the head by a horse on a farm in the Opava region, a helicopter flew for her

The accident at work on the farm occurred on Wednesday. “The woman was injured by the horse she was leading into the corral. She was subsequently airlifted to the University Hospital in Ostrava by paramedics,” said police spokesman Jan Segsulka on Thursday.

A thirty-two-year-old woman was unconscious when the ambulance arrived. “The attending doctor found a head injury and symptoms indicative of a brain injury. Paramedics secured the patient with immobilization means, took care of her thermal comfort and then prepared her for air transport to a medical facility,” added rescue service spokesman Lukáš Humpl.
