A motorcyclist eluded the police in Olomouc. He had over two blood alcohol levels, he drove a car with four a few days ago

Last Saturday around noon, the police in Náměšt na Hané stopped a Škoda Fabia car that was zigzagging from side to side while driving.

“His 35-year-old driver, among other things, submitted to a professional breathalyzer test, during which he inhaled 4.07 and 4.26 parts respectively. The police confiscated his driver’s license on the spot and due to his high level of intoxication, he ended up at the anti-alcohol detention station,” police spokeswoman Ivana Skoupilová informed on Wednesday.

The police officers caught the same driver under the influence of alcohol for the second time on Tuesday around 5:00 p.m. He rode a motorcycle, this time without a driver’s license.

Policemen from the emergency and escort department near Drahanovice wanted to stop and check him. He responded to their call by accelerating and trying to outrun the patrol.

“In the village of Drahanovice, he turned right between the houses and drove down the dirt road towards Náměšť na Hané. However, he did not pass the police and they stopped him between these villages. The driver submitted to a professional breathalyzer test, during which he breathed 2.30 and 2.46 per million respectively,” said Skoupilová.

By lustrating the driver, the police found out that their colleagues had stopped him under the influence of alcohol on Saturday as well. Just like on Saturday, the driver ended up at the anti-alcohol detention station on Tuesday.

On Sunday and Wednesday, after he sobered up, the police informed the man that he was suspected of committing the crime of endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance. “According to the criminal code, he faces up to a year behind bars,” added the police spokeswoman.
