“The accident happened on Saturday at a quarter to three in the afternoon on the road between Hradisko and Bezměrov in the Kroměříž region. Firefighters were on the scene five minutes after the event was announced,” informed David Martinec, spokesman for the fire department of the Zlín region.
He added that the firefighters provided the first pre-medical care to the motorcycle driver until the arrival of the paramedics, with whom they continued to cooperate in the treatment, and also helped with the subsequent transport of the injured.

Psychological help for children
An air ambulance helicopter was also called to the scene of the accident, which transported the injured person to the hospital. “One of the firefighters provided psychological first aid to the crew of a car in which a woman and two children were traveling. He gave both children lifeguard dragons,” explained Martinec.
A rescue helicopter intervened in the accident.
Firefighters also carried out fire prevention measures and laid absorbent mats. The road was closed during the accident investigation.
