Police spokesman Bohumil Malášek informed about the case from last week. The police patrol checked a passenger car in the morning on the road between Kuřim and Tišnov, in which the license plate was placed outside the window, and it was also driving at high speed.
“During the inspection, the driver had a negative breath test for alcohol. The drug test of the strangely behaving woman was already positive, as expected,” said the spokesperson.
Later in the evening of the same day, the road of the aforementioned driver intersected again with the route of the police patrol in the village of Česká.

The woman repeated the positive test for methamphetamine, and it turned out that she was also carrying her two small children in the vehicle.
“She was supposed to hand over the offspring to their father, who soon appeared on the scene. The result of the control of an equally absent-minded man was surprising,” said the spokesperson, adding that he also tested positive for methamphetamine, and he was also officially prohibited from driving, which he did in the past precisely because of the consumption of addictive substances.
“Former partners now have to count on at least further prosecution for endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance,” Malášek added.
