A farm building was on fire in Vsetínsk, the fire also affected a family home

According to her, the firefighters went to the fire in the farm building, which contained wood and coal, shortly after four in the morning.

“At the time of their arrival, the building was almost entirely in flames and the fire spread to the family house standing nearby. The damage to the buildings will certainly exceed one million crowns,” said the spokeswoman.

Units of professional and volunteer firefighters from Vsetín, Valašské Klobouk, Horní Lidče and Lideček took part in extinguishing the fire. They used several jets of water to extinguish the fire.

“They had the fire under control in less than an hour. However, they then checked the objects with a thermal camera and searched for hidden foci. They then poured water over them. Subsequently, in the presence of the investigator, they dismantled the structure of the farm building,” added the spokeswoman, adding that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
