The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated that he has proposed the drafting and approval of a strategy that will modernize the Serbian army.
Vučić described the situation for the Serbian army as revolutionary and demanded engagement in the process of digitization and robotization, using the most advanced technologies and the most modern missiles.
According to him, the security situation has become more complex compared to Serbia and for this he “points the finger” at the military alliance between Pristina, Tirana and Zagreb. However, he emphasized that Serbia remains committed to maintaining peace and stability, which according to him can only be guaranteed through force.
“I asked the officers, in this revolutionary period of changes in our army, with great enthusiasm and greater commitment, to participate in the digitization and robotization of our army, using the most powerful and advanced missiles. The security situation is somewhat more complex than in January when we addressed it, mainly due to the operations and further activities of the military alliance of Pristina, Tirana and Zagreb. Our determination to maintain peace and stability has not changed and we can preserve it only if we are strong and strong enough,” said Vucic.
Albania, Kosovo and Croatia have signed an alliance that basically involves cooperation in the field of defense and security, where Vucic has several times described it as a threat to Serbia.
