After visiting cities such as Vác, Balassagyarmat and others in the north of the country, the Prime Minister and the aforementioned two ministers will arrive by the same bus in the evening for the final pre-election rally in Budapest.

Orbán has been in power continuously for sixteen years, but according to public opinion polls, he is not the favorite in Sunday’s parliamentary elections.
According to an April survey by the Publicus agency, 38 percent of respondents would vote for the Tisza party and 29 percent of the respondents would vote for the Fidesz party. Among decided party voters, the agency measured up to 52 percent for the Tisza party and 39 percent for the Fidesz party.
Polls in Hungary only concern female party candidates, but the country uses a combined electoral system. Out of the total number of 199 members of parliament, only 93 are chosen from party candidates. The remaining 106 are elected in so-called single-mandate constituencies.

Parliamentary elections await Hungary on April 12, 2026, which may end the sixteen-year dominance of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his Fidesz party.
